The Career Summit and 8th Employment Fair, organized by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in cooperation with Alanya University Tourism Management Department, was held at ALKU Life Center.
Internship
An internship is a critical step that provides students with the opportunity to apply and experience the theoretical knowledge and approaches they have acquired throughout their education in a professional work environment. This initial phase of their career journey is of great importance in many ways, such as getting to know the business world, establishing professional networks, gaining access to future job opportunities, supporting professional development, and increasing self-confidence and courage.
As the Department of Tourism Management, we place great importance on establishing strong and sincere relationships with leading companies, institutions, and organizations in the tourism sector to ensure that our students achieve their career goals. In this way, we aim for our students to be one step ahead in the sector.
Our students in the department are required to complete a total of 60 working days of internships during their undergraduate education. This internship period is carried out continuously in two separate periods, 30 working days within the scope of the TRM 200 coded internship course and 30 working days within the scope of the TRM 300 coded internship course.
